Drive. Support.
Transform Lives.

Every ride we provide is made possible by people who step forward—neighbors who drive, supporters who give, and volunteers who lend their time and talents. Together, they ensure that older adults and people with mobility challenges stay connected to healthcare, family, and community life.

Your involvement is more than service—it’s independence, dignity, and hope for someone who needs it. When you give a ride, make a donation, or help behind the scenes, you’re not just supporting nonprofit transportation—you’re transforming lives in your community.

Ways to Get Involved

Volunteer drivers do more than transport passengers—they provide arm-through-arm, door-through-door service that ensures riders travel safely, comfortably, and with dignity.

How it works:

  • Volunteers set their own schedules—one afternoon a week, after work, weekends, or on the way to other commitments.
  • ITNCentralOklahoma coordinates rides according to each volunteer’s availability.
  • ITNCentralOklahoma provides training confirms riders and destinations in advance.

While providing a vital service to their neighbors and their community, ITNCentralOklahoma volunteers earn ride credits redeemable for themselves or family members, valid at any ITN affiliate nationwide. ITNCentralOklahoma volunteers also receive a free annual membership for themselves and a friend.

Driving is not the only way to make an impact. ITNCentralOklahoma also relies on volunteers for essential roles such as:

  • Ride Coordination – Match volunteer drivers with riders and manage daily schedules.
  • Office Support – Assist with phone calls, data entry, and administrative tasks.
  • Events & Fundraising – Help plan and implement community events and fundraising campaigns.
  • Marketing & Outreach – Promote services through social media, local media, and community engagement.
  • Board & Committee Leadership – Provide governance and strategic direction.

Community donations keep ITNCentralOklahoma running and expand access to rides.

Ways to give:

  • Secure online donations
  • Checks by mail
  • Vehicle donations
  • Recurring monthly gifts through the Help on Wheels™ program

“It’s fun meeting new people with a long life of experience. The clients are fun, fascinating and inspiring. I can’t believe more people don’t volunteer!”
